About Eye Vantage
Eye Vantage is an independent optometry practice on FM 529 in Katy, TX, serving families in Elyson, Katy Lakes, Bridgeland, Towne Lake and across northwest Katy. Dr. Sarah Hung, OD, leads our team. We are a member of Vision Source, a national network of independent optometrists, so you get the personal care of a local office with the buying power of a large network. Eye Vantage opened in 2023.

Every visit should feel unhurried and personal. We take time to explain what we see, walk you through your results, and help you choose the right glasses, contacts or treatment, without pressure.
Our doctor
Dr. Sarah Hung grew up in nearby Cypress and earned both her biochemistry degree and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude. She is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She has a special interest in eye disease, kids' myopia management, and care before and after cataract and LASIK surgery. Our equipment includes Optomap ultra-widefield retinal imaging, a Zeiss Cirrus OCT, a virtual reality visual field test and an iCare tonometer.
Insurance and payment
We accept VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera, Superior Vision, Avesis, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare and Medicare. We also accept FSA and HSA cards and CareCredit. See insurances and payment options.
