Meet Dr. Sarah Hung

Dr. Sarah Hung grew up in Cypress, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences with high honors at the University of Houston, followed by her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her education, she was awarded a Clinical Letter of Excellence and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Society.

Dr. Hung is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist. During her clinical training, she focused on treating and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, and corneal disease. Her special interests include primary eye care, ocular disease, and pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries.

Passionate about giving back, Dr. Hung has participated in optometric mission trips to underserved areas in Honduras, providing essential eye care to those in need. She is an active member of the Harris County Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

Outside of the clinic, she is passionate about spending time with her friends and family, baking, and traveling. Currently, she and her husband are enjoying their new journey as parents to their daughter, Chloe!
